While spending a week’s vacation at home, we completed a lot of spring cleaning, enjoyed some meals with friends, did some resting and reading… and mended a lot of garb while considering new projects. Getting to the bottom of the mend pile create momentum for cutting out new coats and tunics and pants. And it inspires us to evaluate the camping gear in the basement and garage, to see what needs to be resewn, repainted, renailed.

It’s two months to Pennsic – what do you need to finish up (or get started)? :)

Vivant to Eldjarn for representing the barony in the Seven Pearls Arts & Sciences competition at Melee Madness and to Raibert (standing in for Spyke) for representing the barony in the Seven Pearls Rattan competition at Æthelmearc War Practice. We thank these good gentlemen for their participation in these friendly bouts. Vivant also to Eldjarn and Pleasance for teaching at recent events (him at Melee Madness, her at War Practice), as well as to Carlo, Juliana, Artemis, and all the other Thescorreans who performed, taught, and otherwise participated in the Brass Ring Thing demo in the Hael. Bob raef!!

We look forward to all the activities at Pax Interruptus in a few weeks. Once again, we proclaim that all who wish to shoot, throw, fence, or fight for Thescorre at Pennsic are welcome to muster on the battlefield at noon on Saturday.
