There are many medieval games that require dice. Today we will learn how to make your own dice out of simple wooden blocks that can be purchased at most craft stores.
For the younger children, using a Q-tip and a plate of paint, dip the tip in the paint and dot the designs on the blocks following the design on the paper pattern below.
For the older children using a safety pin, lightly poke the tip in and rotate it around creating the divot for the dot, then take a fine tip paintbrush and dot in the black paint.
When finished use clear paint to seal the dice and allow to dry completely.
