I enjoyed the College of 3 Ravens more than ever this year. It was close to home, easy to get to, and the classrooms were readily accessible. As a teacher with books to lug, I was VERY grateful that there were no stairs to negotiate once inside. Lunch was substantial and delicious. I learned some new stories from my students: Master Cedric the Humble's story of the Macho Archery Customer (which featured a cameo by Ulric Wulfricson) amused me right mightily, as did a young man's tale of a Ghostly Teapot. THL Brad the Archer shared a couple of quick tales in a lovely brogue, and two ladies gave storytelling a try with tales of a poly-amorous knight, and an encounter with a leprechaun. Ravensong's performance was extremely enjoyable! Court was quick and meaningful. Dinner, though a tad rushed, due to a hard deadline for cleanup and departure, was an incomparable success! There was plenty of everything, it was all exceedingly tasty, and I got to thump loudly with Devon's Ju-Ju Stick before announcing the courses for my favorite "niece". Of course, the finale was Master Fridrikr entertaining the scullery crew as he and Mistress Una washed dishes! Way to go industrious Barony of Thescorre!
