It has been several months since our last column, and for that, we apologize.

    We have both experienced dramatic changes in our jobs this winter, changes which have taken up much of our attention in the past months. Friends have been very patient with and supportive of us, but we know we are not the only ones who have been experienced great kindness and understanding while we are distracted with Real Life.

    Many Thescorreans have lost their jobs or are supporting loves ones who have lost their jobs in these troubled financial times. Many are dealing with other kinds of money or health problems. In short, many in our barony need kindness and understanding.

    We often hear that things will get worse before they better; while we truly do believe things in this nation will improve over the next couple of years, we are positive we are all quite ready for some better now, thank you!

    The point?

    In past months, we’ve also noticed gentles reaching out to each other—giving another rides to a practice when a car breaks down, paying someone’s way to an event when a job is lost, inviting friends over to dinner or sending a quick text message to check in when someone is feeling blue.

    Such kindness for others is a truly wonderful thing to witness and hear about… and it’s a major reason why this is not just some very involved costume party.

    We salute those who have reached out to fellow gentles and thank those who will continue to do so as we all come out the other side of these times.

Coronation & Crown
    As the season changes, it is time once again to witness the ending of one reign and the beginning of a new one. We plan to attend this event, and welcome any who wish to retain for us in Kingdom Court to contact us offline.
In the weeks afterward, we wish a very hearty good luck and great joy to all Thescorreans who enter Crown – we hope we may we once again see a member of this industrious barony leading our kingdom!
