| October 17, 2009 AEthelmearc Fall Crown Tourney Shire of Coppertree http://coppertree.aethelmearc.org/crown.html The Shire of Coppertree invites all to witness Æthelmearc’s Crown Tourney on the beautiful fields of the Little Falls City School District High School. The site will open no earlier than 9:00am, and closes no later than 6:30pm and can easily accommodate pavilions and tourney shades. Combatants will be give preference and reserved ring-side space for their pavilion if they include the information with their reservation. |
| October 24, 2009 Agincourt Barony-Marche of Debatable Lands http://www.debatablelands.org/events/agincourt/ Attend one and all, within the fields of the Debatable Lands, The Feast of Saint Crispin will be upon us and a noble fight will be at hand. A day of Archery, Fighting, Fencing and Feasting for all to enjoy. A true celebration of the honour and chivalry of our society. This event will take place on October the 24th, a.s. 44 at the McCandless-Branstetter Castle in the Barony Marche of the Debatable Lands. A magnificent feast is being prepared for one and all by Lady Odriana vander Brugghe and a lovely lunch by Lady Elss of Augsburg. For dietary restrictions contact Lady Odriana. |

| October 24, 2009 Duck, Duck, Goose Dominion of Myrkfaelinn http://myrkfaelinn.aethelmearc.org/events/2009-10.html Look back and remember fondly the game from childhood or think back upon the last time you had delicious fowl for dinner. Now you can enjoy both at Myrkfaelinn's Fall event “Duck, Duck, Goose” to be held Oct 24th and 4-H Acres (418 Lower Creek Rd, Ithaca Ny 14850). As the fowl take to the sky, the fighters take to field for a day full of games and melee. There will be Heavy Fighting, Youth Combat, Thrown Weapons, Archery, and Fencing (if a marshal can be found.) There will be period games to play, dancing to do, and of course children's activities. Lord Rubyn Makdonald will be hosting a period games tournament. |
