St. Swithin's Bog 12th Night: Fire and Ice
Barony of St. Swithin's Bog (Jennerstown, PA)
Welcome to Fire and Ice, a celebration of France! Our 12th Night event will take place at our traditional site, Green Gables, 7712 Somerset Pike, Jennerstown, PA.
This year we will be featuring Gallic foods. We will take a culinary tour of France featuring Bourgeoise as well as haute cuisine. Gentles are encouraged to dress in red and white, representing fire and ice and also the colors of our fair Kingdom. We will hold our usual silent/voice auction of select and desirable items. Entertainment will feature our Cattail Choraliers, as well as an open bardic competition.

Heronter Twelfth Night

Don your best garb and raise your banner in the main hall. Duke Sir Marcus will be holding a bear pit tourney for Heavy Fighters. There will be fencing available and many festive games going on throughout the day. We will have dancing and a chance for you to go on the sly to get the gift you want out of the Chinese Gift Exchange (Bring a gift to get a gift). |

We have plenty of classrooms and would encourage all interested teachers to come and share their knowledge and all eager students to attend. We are hoping to have scribal, sewing, brewing, dancing, martial, heraldry and other classes. Second Emprise of the Amethyst

Proclaim it through the lands of the second Emprise of the Amethyst, wherein warriors of proven puissance and Chivalry gather to test their skill and mettle against one another in a Grand Tournament. Hosted within the Shire of Stormsport, at the Erie Day school upon the twenty-third day of January, AS 44 (being 2010), shall be collected those Men-at-Arms that have earned invitations throughout the year. Join the warmth of the hearth and partake of the sideboard, while watching and cheering these great fighters from across the Kingdom vie for the title of Champion of Amethyst.
